About Us
Momiji no Kensha – Where a Family Passion is Born.
Born from love, respect, and dedication, Momiji no Kensha is a small, family-run hobby kennel
of Shiba. It is inspired by the beauty of Japanese red maple leaves and a heartfelt family
story filled with affection and determination.
It all started with our daughter, who, after two years of research and study, realized that the
Shiba was the perfect dog for her. With patience and perseverance, she managed to convince
us — and she was right. We will always be grateful to her, because thanks to her we discovered
an extraordinary breed.
In the autumn of 2020, Yamamoto arrived — our first Shiba. It was love at first sight.
Three years later, Mikasa joined us, further deepening our bond with this unique world.
Almost by chance, we approached the world of dog shows and achieved encouraging results,
despite being just passionate newcomers.
Despite their participation in beauty competitions, our Shibas live with us as full members of
the family, in a peaceful and stimulating environment where they grow up balanced, social, and
serene. They are tested for the main hereditary diseases and, above all, they are loved every
single day.

and nurtured over time, with the desire to share the beauty, intelligence, and independence of
the true Shiba Inu with others who, like us, will fall in love with them.
